Tim started out many years ago working for various wineries in Temecula while exploring and developing his gifted talent for making truly elegant wines… if you want to see Tim get passionate, ask him about a Napa vineyard covered with mustard blooms in early spring!

He is seriously committed to Temecula’s ability to produce world-class wines. He also has a voracious appetite to understand and appreciate every other great wine region and wine making style in the world. He is informed, and aware of what’s happening with wines world wide—just a small part of what makes him so valuable and well rounded as TVWM’s wine-making leader.

Tim continues to be the guiding force behind the high standards and quality focused wine program offered at Leonesse Cellars as well as TVWM. His consistent and gifted wine making skills and his unassuming nature, have combined to make him a favorite consultant for many making wine in Temecula and surrounding areas.
As the co-owner of TVWM, and the consulting winemaker, Tim brings his strong leadership skills to the organization and creates a solid confidence felt among the TVWM clients across the board. If a certain wine or winemaking style meets with his approval, clients trust it to be a solid endorsement of their product. After all, Tim is one of the few wine makers in Temecula to have garnered multiple high critical scores for the big dry reds he loves to craft.

TVWM’s culture is greatly influenced by Tim’s humble and unassuming nature. For such a gifted and knowledgeable wine maker, he is approachable, interactive, and never condescending.
